Before you sign.
Who owns the code and IP?
You do. On final payment, the source code, designs and IP created for you transfer to you, with repository access, credentials and documentation. We keep only our general know-how and any open-source tools we used.
How do payments work?
Fixed price for the agreed scope, paid in milestones: 30% on signing, 40% on a working build, 20% at launch and 10% after handover. Ugandan clients are invoiced in UGX, international clients in USD, payable by bank transfer.
What does the AI Opportunity Audit cost, and is it wasted if we continue?
UGX 1.5M or USD 750 for 3 days. If you go on to an AI Readiness Sprint, the full audit fee is credited against it.
We are in the UK or Europe. How does the time difference work?
Kampala is UTC+3, so our afternoons overlap UK and European mornings. We reply the same business day and confirm bookings within 2 hours. Weekly demos are scheduled in your hours.
How do you handle data protection?
We follow Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act 2019 and handle EU and UK personal data on GDPR-compatible terms. We sign a data processing agreement on request, limit access by role, and log access to sensitive records.
How does the AI handle our data?
Your documents stay in a store you control, and the assistant retrieves from them to answer. We do not use your data to train public models. Which model runs, and where, is written into the statement of work for your sign-off. Where a decision matters, the AI proposes and a person approves.
What if we want to leave?
You can. You own the code, and we hand over repositories, credentials, documentation and a walkthrough so another team can take over. Care Plans run month to month; the notice period is written into your Care Plan agreement.
Will it work for users on slow connections?
That is the point. We set a performance budget for every page and test on throttled mobile connections. Assistants can answer on WhatsApp, which most of your users already have.
How long does a typical project take?
The audit takes 3 days and the sprint 2 weeks. Websites and systems are scoped individually; the statement of work fixes the timeline before we start.
Can we see your work running?
Yes. Maritime CTMS, the Fees Tracking System and Rental Management are live, and our NGO and e-commerce sites are linked from our work page. Client references are available on request after a discovery call.
